Harare pool party death, police launch investigation

The victim succumbed to injuries while admitted at Chitungwiza Central Hospital.

POLICE in Highlands , Harare, have launched a manhunt for two male suspects in connection with the death of a 21-year-old man whose body was found floating in a local swimming pool.

According to a police X post, the deceased Wayne Kudakwashe Gamble had attended a party with former schoolmates on Sunday.

“The body was taken to Parirenyatwa Hospital mortuary for post mortem ”, police said.

Meanwhile, police in Epworth are also investigating a case of murder which occurred on Sunday near Epworth High School.

“The suspects, Evidence Shirichena and Elvis Shirishena  allegedly stabbed their cousin Justice Magombeze (30) on the stomach after an argument over US$3,” police said. 

The victim succumbed to injuries while admitted at Chitungwiza Central Hospital.

The two suspects are reportedly on the run.
