Vendors fight over Pepsi van

News
Dadirai Sakanda last week told magistrate Mandlenkosi Ndlovu that James Sakanda was harassing her after she took her vending van, which she had lent him earlier this year.

A Harare woman has approached the civil court seeking a protection order against another vendor in a dispute over the ownership of a Pepsi vending van.

Dadirai Sakanda last week told magistrate Mandlenkosi Ndlovu that James Sakanda was harassing her after she took her vending van, which she had lent him earlier this year.

“He is sending street kids to harass me because I am refusing to give him my Pepsi van,” she said.

“I am always getting robbed of my stock every day and he sends threats to assault me.”

Sakanda said she wanted the court to bar the respondent from harassing her.

Ndlovu advised the applicant to seek an interdict order to bar the respondent from taking his stock.
