Mighty Warriors coach out on bail

Mighty Warriors coach out on bail.

MIGHTY Warriors coach Shadreck Mlauzi was yesterday granted US$300 bail in a case in which he is accused of indecently assaulting a player.

Mlauzi appeared before Harare magistrate Yeukai Dzuda, who remanded the case to October 27 for trial commencement.

He was represented by Kossam Ncube.

Dzuda dismissed his application challenging the jurisdiction of the court to hear a case which emanates from a crime reportedly committed in South Africa.

According to the State, Mlauzi indecently assaulted the player, who cannot be named to protect her identity, on several occasions while in camp in Zimbabwe and South Africa.

In an unrelated case, a Health and Child Care ministry assistant accountant appeared before magistrate Dennis Mangosi facing fraud charges.

Tinotenda Bayai was remanded to November 23 on US$50 bail .

The court heard that Bayai was responsible for collecting revenue and receipting  money from clients.

She then fraudulently created a receipt book which she used to receipt clients for services rendered.

Between September and October this year, Bayai received payments from clients on different occasions and converted the money to personal use.
