Stepping into God's time: The Kairos Year

2024 is a Kairos moment, and each decision you make will be pivotal for where your life will be heading or the things you must accomplish in the coming years.

The word "Kairos" means 'the right or critical moment.' Kairos moments are specific dates set for the accomplishment and fulfillment of a specific task. Just like in an election year, a vote can make a difference and determine the direction of a nation and her people. These moments can be missed because they require much obedience and grace to walk into God's purpose for an individual.

You could have missed past seasons, have you ever been in a season where you felt if they miss this year,  you are not sure if they will ever get this opportunity again? Those are the Kairos moments, key and  critical moments in one's destiny. 2024 is a Kairos moment, and each decision you make will be pivotal for where your life will be heading or the things you must accomplish in the coming years.

Let's just look at the word "critical." When you look at the word "critical," you understand that you cannot afford to miss this time or season. Moses offset God’s plan when he killed an Egyptian who was abusing a Jewish man.

In Exodus, we learn that the children of Israel came out of Egypt after exactly 430 years. Because of Moses’ mistake, Israel’s destiny was delayed by 30 years. The Kairos year is a year when all things are set to allow you to fulfill the plan of God for your life. It’s a year where trust in God will be key. The Bible said those led by the spirit of God are the sons of God. The sad part is not every believer is being referred to in this scripture but sons who have matured. Many assume when it's a Kairos year, it's all unto God;and i have no part to play. But the Bible shows us through the lives of the children of Issachar that the only way to fulfill God's plan is through hard work and having sharp and keen sight. There are two things you will need this year: strength and sight.

In God’s original timeline, Moses should have continued in the palace for 10 more years until God’s set time. Why was there a 30-year discrepancy between what the Lord told Abram and what it says in Exodus? Because Moses was not yet mature; he failed to execute God’s plan well. Israel’s prophetic timeline shifted because their leader acted prematurely.

Many have assumed God's timing is not perfect. Yet, the Bible says He makes all things beautiful. God is like a great artist painting a masterpiece with our lives. If you interrupt the process, you may not appreciate what He was building. However, if you allow His hand to finish the masterpiece, you may be surprised by what He was creating with your life. The key Scripture for this year is Ecclesiastes 3:11: "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end."

Note it says He has made all things beautiful in His time. We are in the time of God's beauty, but in this year, make sure you will not miss this critical stage. Moses was called to be a leader, but his ministry was supposed to happen at a specific moment. We have entered that key moment for Him to beautify your life, and if you yield to God's spirit, you will surely experience His beauty.

Welcome to the Kairos year, which shall produce beauty in your life. Allow Him to beautify your life.
