Since the George W. Bush years (2000-2008) the Republican party has been known as the stupid party.
The Democrats, having captured the state apparatus, the intelligence services, the military top brass, and most important, the media, swam in the sea of ideas without any credible challenge, except Donald J Trump.
Today, the corrupt Democrats are crying bloody murder, as Trump, now in his second term, having won in both the US Senate and Congress, now happily seeks revenge.
The news media.
I was standing in a queque at a Barclays Bank in Zimbabwe in 2016 when the US Cable News Network (CNN) went on line. CNN’s anchor, Brother Don Lemon did not even pretend to be impartial, he detested Trump.
A fellow Zimbabwean whispered to me: “Are they allowed to do this in America?’ The American people were not fooled and CNN lost half its audience. But today, their slew of reporters, are recovering, and shamelessly returning to their old anti-Trump habits.
And they have picked the wrong time and the wrong person.
Trump, who was entertaining Salvadorian president Nayib Bukele, was as charming as he could be when a CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins, reading from an old script, attacked him.

Trump’s administration had deported Abrego Garcia to his homeland, Salvadore. Garcia, who sneaked into the US in 2003, got himself a wife, asked for a right to remain in 2011. Allowed to stay, he got himself into trouble, beating his wife (a green card marriage) and associating with M-13, a Salvadorian terrorist narcotics gang.
A federal court had ruled that the US government had acted too hastily without giving Garcia due process. On the other hand, the Supreme Court had ruled that separation of powers allowed Trump (9 to zero) to exercise administrative powers as he saw fit.
Trump referred to Kaitlan as that “low rated anchor from CNN-no wonder nobody listens to you anymore.”
Democrats sent three representatives to El Salvadore in an attempt to return Garcia.
The issue here is about splitting hairs. Garcia is a very bad person. He is not an American citizen. According to Trump and the majority of Americans, why do Democrats waste time with such people when there are many Americans who need help.
Trump was enjoying the moment. “Listen to these people, they always ask (questions) with a slant.” Secretary of state, Marco Rubio was there. His explanation did not please Kaitlan. US Attorney General was there. Her answer did not please Kaitlan.
“How many times shall we take, explaining the same issue to these people?” Trump alluded to the corrupt journalist.
Oh, I left out the fact that El Salvador’s president was there. He explained that Garcia was a Salvadorian. He did not belong to the US.
The corrupt Democrats were not satisfied.
The Democrats, had a serious legal issue, follow the rule of law, and procedures are just as important as the law. But they failed to understand that type of argument, though it might stretch the minds of scholars, is to the generality, splitting hairs, and of no interest to them whatever.
They look very stupid.
Sister Letitia James
A graduate of Howard Law School, Sister James came into the limelight as a tool of president Joe Biden, who wanted Trump locked up in a jailhouse so he could not challenge him ever again.
Elected to New York’s second highest office, as Attorney General, 2019, she campaigned on the “Get Trump Card.”
“I will shine a bright light into every dark corner of his real estate dealings, and ever dealing, demanding truthfulness at very turn.”
Trump, now 68, had been in business for over 40 years and built the iconic Trump Towers and Golf Franchises all over the world.
Having been president (2016-2020) all non-murder crimes would have long passed the statute of limitations.
Never mind the law. She cooked up the idea that the statute of limitations could be extended since during Covid-19 the state was unable to find and lay their hands on Trump.
She accused Trump of borrowing money from Deutsch Bank at favourable interest rates by falsely inflating the value of his properties.
With a kangaroo jury, Trump was found guilty and fined US$543 million, a sum that constituted his entire cash reserves. Alternatively, she wanted Trump to be jailed for 65 years, thus permanently removing him from challenging her master, Joe Biden.
Letitia was salivating at this final blow to Trump.
Trump’s revenge.
To cut a long story short, Trump is now president. His chief housing officer in Virginia found out that Letitia owns a house there, and got a favourable interest rate based on fraudulent actions.
A misleading statement on the form was that, a man, whose surname of James (her father), is listed on the form as her husband.
Her New York apartment is listed as a four-bedroom unit instead of a five unit. Obviously, this under-statement was designed to cheat the tax collector.
As we go to press, April 22, Letitia, realising that Trump’s intent is not to win the case, but to ruin her financially is holding a go-fund me dinner at US$ 18 000 a plate.
US Housing Authority finance director, William Pulte, a Trump sent a letter to the prosecutor with these bad words.
Ms. James and her family, niece, and father signed a notarised form claiming that: “I hereby intend to make this property my principal residence.”
The sister is crying holy murder of the first degree. “It is all political.” She says.
When I was cutting my teeth at The Sunday Mail, renowned editor, Willie Musarurwa would remind young reporters. “Be careful and balanced, one day you may be seating on the other side.”
These corrupt Democrats never imagined that that day would come.
