With the year wrapping up in two days’ time, everyone is busy making plans and resolutions for the New Year.
Like many others, local celebs are also busy on their diaries penning down their dreams and hopes for the year ahead.
Standard Style tracked down some of the country's ‘popular personalities to find out what they intend to do next year, and here is what they exclusively shared with us.
“I guess 2025 will be the busiest year for me, I wanted to drop my album this December, but I couldn’t due to, setbacks, delays and various other factors,” said musician LeeDee.
“So I’m hoping to drop my album of 10 songs, accompanied with a few visuals and launch it as well. I feel like after dropping Khanyisa I owe this one to my fans.”
Fellow musician Poptain said he will strengthen his relationship with the media.
“I want to start working with journalists, who are not seeking to tarnish my image,” he said.

“All this while they always call me when there is a scandal or they are looking for one.
“These reporters always twist my words; I think for the past three years. I need to focus on my image more.”
When asked how he intends to do that, Poptain said: “I will call you from now on. If I have a project I'm working on I will be in touch”.
Promising rap-underdog Cuniva said it would be the year to “hatch” for him.
“2025 is the year I'm going to deliver, to show how bad I want my dreams to come true,” he said.
“At the beginning of the year I'll be dropping an EP, whose songs I spent the whole of 2024 performing...then before the first quarter of the year ends I'll drop a single or two before I drop another EP.
“Ultimately, towards the year end I will be releasing a well curated and thoughtful mixtape. So during the year I'll be dropping EPs and singles as build ups
“All that while hunting shows to perform at and also featuring with great artists who I personally enjoy and yea man just a lot of work ahead I can't let 2025 end the same way as 2024.”
NoNameDance member Methembe Blinko Ndlovu said they would take the country by storm.
“This year’s priority was to introduce ourselves to the market and give people a sense of who we are and what we are capable of,” he said.
“The time spent also allowed us to understand each other more and build great synergy and camaraderie which will carry us through the coming years.
“Considering that the dance market, specifically dance crew industry, was pretty much dead in the city, we had our work cut out for ourselves, but we’re happy to see more dance crews forming, which will increase the market size.
“Moving into 2025, we aim to export our craft outside the city and country as well as open up a space where young and aspiring dancers can be groomed and taught how to navigate in the industry.”
The Bulawayo Arts Awards, which took a sabbatical this year will also be making a comeback next year.
The organisers said in a statement that it would coincide with Heroes's Day in August.
Mai TT said she would dig deeper into her musical side.
“I will be working more on my music as well as on my business”, she said.
