United Kingdom-based evangelist Lillian Sibotsha has pledged to expand her ministry’s charitable efforts globally with plans to develop the Beauty for Ashes fundraising initiative further.
She operates under the Calvary Apostolic Assembly (CAA) and is the founder of Beauty for Ashes.
Having successfully hosted the second edition of the annual event on March 15, which featured several popular gospel artists and influential figures from religious and business sectors, Sibotsha is committed to broadening the reach of the Beauty for Ashes initiative.
The initiative was inspired by her personal experiences with childhood abuse and gender-based violence in marriage.
These challenges motivated her to create a ministry focused on supporting, healing, and restoring women who have faced similar struggles.
“The goal is to reach out to victims of trauma, abuse, addiction, loss, and other hardships,” she said.
“With Christ at the centre of every initiative, Beauty for Ashes offers spiritual guidance, practical support, and a loving community where women can encounter God’s transformative power.”

While it began as a local initiative, the ministry is actively working to reach women in different countries by providing spiritual guidance, mentorship, and practical support.
In its second year, the initiative has raised thousands of dollars and implemented various charity-based projects, including direct assistance to victims.
In 2024, Beauty for Ashes also successfully conducted a prison outreach program at Chikurubi Female Prison, ministering the love of Christ to female inmates.
“This initiative provided spiritual encouragement and practical support to women in prison, helping them find hope and restoration through faith,” she explained.
“We donated toiletries to over 200 women who were incarcerated at the time and clothed about 13 children born in prison.
“We also hired a chef to prepare special meals for all the female inmates and their children.”
Looking ahead, the ministry plans to expand its outreach efforts to other parts of the world where women face similar challenges.
This includes growing its network, establishing new partnerships, and increasing community-based programmes to support victims of trauma and abuse
Beauty for Ashes collaborates with various partners, such as Place2Talk (P2T), a dedicated counselling service focused on improving the mental health and well-being of children, adolescents, and families.
