Hounsou’s rep confirmed the split to People magazine.
The pair was married in West Africa in 2008, before Kimora was legally divorced from mogul ex husband Russell Simmons.
Despite that ceremony, the two never got a marriage license in the United States.
Kimora and Djimon have a 3 year old son together named Kenzo Lee. Kimora has two daughters Ming 12, and Aoki 10, from her previous marriage.
