This would be their second tour of the country after a one legged Cape Town tour in July. The show presents a hectic schedule that will see the travelling party of DJ Flavour and chanter Etherton B drive from Bulawayo to Harare early in the morning to catch a flight to South Africa at 7am.

According to the promoters, they failed to secure a flight from Bulawayo to South Africa on the day.

“They will be departing at 7am, it is going to be tough for them as they will be having a gig in Bulawayo,” said Effort Mukaro, one of the organisers.

“Unfortunately we could not get a direct flight from Bulawayo so they have to drive back to Harare since Air Zimbabwe does not have a flight from there to suit their schedule.”

The duo was scheduled to play at Club Horizon for the Welcome to Summer Pool Party that features Big Brother Africa 2013 housemates Pokello Nare and her Ghanaian boyfriend Elikem, as well as his fellow Ghanaian, Selly.

DJ Flavour who spoke on behalf of Judgement Yard said he was happy with their debut South African performance and was anxiously awaiting today’s show.

He said although it would be a tough schedule, they would fulfill it.

“If it were some small show surely we would have cancelled but we cannot afford to miss this one so we will have to brave it,” said DJ Flavour.

“We promise a memorable show for Pretoria so as to repay the faith that the promoters have shown in us and this is proof that we are growing as a stable.”

Mukaro said, while in SA, they have planned various activities that will see the duo attending a Red Carpet event at lunch time where they would be meeting various footballers that include, Tinashe Nengomasha, Obidiah Tarumbwa, Washington Arubi, Thomas Svesve and Tendai Tanyanyiwa, among others.

“Although he will not be performing, we expect singer Nox to be part of the event,” said Mukaro.

“They will be fetched by Hyundai Zambezi at OR Tambo International Airport before they check in at Hotel Formula One along Pretorius Street.
