Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries founder Walter Magaya will officially open the multi-million dollar Yadah Village in Waterfalls, Harare next month, which boasts of villas, conference rooms and guest houses, among other facilities.

The project was initially expected to be complete by December this year, but according to Magaya, it was speeded up to enable PHD to concentrate on its housing projects in other cities and towns.
Yadah village is set to be officially opened on September 2.
Magaya confirmed messages making rounds on social media that his Planet Africa company was recruiting 3 000 builders to work on his property developments.
In an interview on Friday after the tour of the luxurious properties, Magaya said only 1 500 builders had so far taken up the offer.
“It is true; we need 3 000 builders. So far, we got about 1 500. There is a lot of work to be done. The Yadah Village is set to be officially opened on September 2, definitely. It is possible we will complete the project within the little time left because the builders and everyone here is working 24 hours a day,” he said.
“So far, we have injected around $8 million into the project. The guest house is the biggest on local soil for it will accommodate 2 000 guests. We also have 180 VIP villas that are being worked on.”

Planet Africa will also construct a number of houses in Kwekwe, Chitungwiza, Bulawayo and Mutare.
When The Standard visited the site on Friday, workers were busy putting final touches on the numerous structures erected on a vast piece of land.
“We have 300ha of land in Bulawayo, 910ha in Mutare and 300ha in Kwekwe. I want to put the record straight, that 90% of the land is privately-owned,” Magaya said.
“We intend to complete the Waterfalls project so that those people who come from other countries will have accommodation. This is the reason why I suspended my visits to other countries because the very same people would follow me here and accommodation was a problem.”
PHD is also set to construct a $90-million church in Waterfalls after the completion of Yadah Village.
