Boohooman apparels, Blaze’s track pick Major League DJz’s interest

In fairness to how his purring consonance arias career has panned out; to all and sundry cobbling parsimony

Banele’s conveniently-timed execution on the decks — is surplus to Amapiano’s talent factory; with a mooring double helical structure, lever-pulling a pitch polyphony recipe of pleasant-sounding notes — inducing a rich arpeggio progression. So, it is not in the least bit surprising to see his non-too-perilous success position behind the boards, neither pouting nor petulant.

In fairness to how his purring consonance arias career has panned out; to all and sundry cobbling parsimony, the real key to Banele’s promptly painless musical window would be Bandile. Attached at the hip; they are “crazy” close! Perhaps triggered by a parallel deoxyribonucleic acid found in all prokaryotic as well as eukaryotic cells. Also, feasibly by a shared uterus during development — inevitably exposed to the same mix of nutrients and hormones; the very portent of replication, gene expression, mutation as well as transcription functions of the hereditary material.

Probably an absolute model; Bandile pulled off the — far from grating or spurning — most impressive foresight. Snapping up a keen euphony buyout with Banele — his identical blood brother. Not only is the latter an undoubted sharer of the same genes — packaged in 23 pairs of chromosomes; he is pretty much a non-too-vanishing petite trope of alike patterns of brain activity.

Therewith, going by the perfectly illustrated alias — Major League DJz; this day and age, the Mbere monozygotic twins, who were born in exile to a household of anti-apartheid campaigners, are doing their utmost sonically! The magnum opus lords have been disrupting the auditory communication scene — within as well as on the far side of Africa — since 2012; with a cult following from across the land of ham (dark skin) — primitively referred to as Alkebulan “mother of mankind”, stretching forth to the United Kingdom, on the face of it — teeming, sweeping through the United States.

After conceiving a masterly tag team birdcall sculpt with Major Lazer — a Jamaican-American Electronic Dance music and DJ trio: comprising Diplo a record producer, as well as Disc Jockeys Walshy Fire and Ape Drums — last 12-month; slightly over a fortnight ago, Major League DJz wasted little time remixing “with an Amapiano flair” — American House cantabile tempi duo — Blaze’s oeuvre blast called ‘Most Precious Love’.

Multiplicity in tactic paying off handsomely, the jaw-dropping straw-hat consonance move, comes at the back of the “magicians in work”, launching a fashion Quislingism with Boohooman (boohooMAN); a global e-tailer hatched from the “easier on shoppers’ pockets as well as wallets” boohoo.com — established by Mahmud Kamani and Carol Kane in 2006. Being UK’s fast astral portfolio of 13 top British fashion brands; Boohoo Group’s clientele ranges from 16-to-30-year-olds.

Making sure that Major League DJz does not jump through hoops to angle for a shot in the fashion circles; Boohooman (boohooMAN) answered — understandably a little cautious — the South African record-setting Disc Jockey and tonal pattern producing pair’s “glitz and glamour” call. As luck would have it, the former as well as the latter have squarely designed a range of RTW pieces. Drawing stimulation from the ‘Piano Republik’, ‘Outside’, ‘Pianochella!’, as well as ‘What’s the Levol’ godheads’ everyday wardrobe, fairly mounting from the pedigrees of the élan empire’s streetwear attire!

“Our collaboration with Boohooman (BoohooMAN) is a celebration of our roots and our journey. We are excited to blend African aesthetics with contemporary fashion, creating a collection that represents the vibrant energy and creativity of Amapiano culture,” Major League DJz said.

Coming a lot, lot better; the collection offers an array of substitutable sets, oversized fits, core accessories with daring catchphrases, tranquil silhouettes, as well as auspicious denim. Made up of 54 of one mind pieces; it is an eclectic range of complimentary hi/lo items, with a juxtaposition of bright colours as well as head-to-toe monochrome looks to reflect the palette. Winning in that regard, the graphic t-shirts give us a logic of Major League DJz’s discrete traits; playing up the ‘No Request’ slogans as well as idioms — referring back to their hum of anthems and culture, with a synthesis of streetwear panaches!

Denim is over-sized with a larger-than-life flicker or dilapidated with a skeleton applique print that can be worn as a “co-ord” or a “standalone” piece. Quickly coming good; statement shirts take the lead in the collection festooned with graphic prints on check fabric. Quietly confident; brave motif designs give the impression on the summer nights monochrome shirts, convoyed with lengthier length shorts — with cargo detail.

Devising raw yet decidedly charming allegories, the crusade was shot in the heart of New York. Stirred by fashion candid paparazzi-style metaphors, showcasing the litheness of the array. Equipped to catch fire; as an essential chunk of the drive, Major League DJz played a YouTube-bound live Balcony Mix set; DJing along the Hudson River with the iconic city backdrop.

Talking on the 808, snares as well as hi-hats, at a speed of 110 to 120 beats per minute; the “bomb duo” from the “rainbow nation”, which gingerly rocked the slogan tees as part of the launch, professed with a swish gratification:
