Headmistress up for theft.

POLICE in Tsholotsho have arrested Nkanyiso Primary School headmistress for allegedly stealing school property.

The headmistress, Bellah Moyo (58), was arrested alongside Kelvin Ncube (26) on December 20, 2022.

The pair allegedly stole the property between August and November 2022.  “Police in Tsholotsho have arrested Kelvin Ncube (26) and Bellah Moyo (58) in connection with theft where 40 reams of bond paper, 23x50kg cement and 20x50kg porridge were stolen,” the statement read.

“On December 17, 2022, police arrested Ncube after receiving information that he was linked to the case.  Ncube implicated the headmistress of the school leading to her arrest on December 12, 2022.”

Moyo will appear in court on a date to be announced.
