In a statement, national police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi named the suspects as Raymond Nkomo,(25) , Noboth Sithole, Sylvester Gumbo (30), Sheperd Ncube (26), Wisdom Dube (30), Shepherd Dube (24), Raymond Nkomo (26), Micah Masuku (49), Zibusiso Nkomo (32), Nelson Musengi (27), Brian Moyo (36), Willard Ncube (46), Khumbulani Khumalo (49).

The list also includes: Promise Mbambo (37), Hlakanipha Luphahla (28), Japhet Ncube, Brandon Mpala (27), Ayanda Dube (33) and Prince Moyo (35).”

Nyathi revealed that the suspects, all residents of Bulawayo, would be taken to court soon.

Meanwhile, the PSL has summoned both teams as well as Highlanders player Peter Mudhuwa to appear before a disciplinary committee on September 26.
