We have been discussing many things and today I want to look at biblical keys that help you unlock your breakthrough.
There are many keys found in the Bible but I want to focus on a few.
The Bible is full of men and women of God who had breakthroughs in many areas in their walk with God and we will have a look at their stories.
The Bible states that every miracle is unlocked by faith and this is the key to every breakthrough you might ever need in life. One might ask, every time l seem to have faith and l truly believe in something, why is it l am failing to breakthrough?
So let me start by defining faith. According to the Bible. Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) 1. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
Faith then becomes the number one key to getting your breakthrough. So no matter what don't doubt, it should never cross your mind that what you are believing might not happen.
Doubt is the opposite of faith and it has resulted in many people not receiving their breakthrough. The Bible explains that faith is the substance of things that we hope for but we cannot see them yet but we believe those things are already in existence.
For example, it’s like when you buy something from China or online and believe what you have bought shall be delivered whether it will take three months to be shipped and delivered.

- Witness will testify that Kelly Khumalo shot Senzo Meyiwa by mistake – defence lawyer

Surely you have not seen the goods physically but you are confident that one day your goods will be delivered to you. When you pray keep your faith no matter the circumstances knowing you have already received your breakthrough and believe your miracle shall be delivered to you without fail. Prayers done by faith have opened doors for many people.
Another key to getting your breakthrough is through power of agreement. The Bible says when two or three gather in my name and do not doubt my father has already put it into action. Matthew 18:19 (KJV) 19. "Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."
The above scripture gives us another powerful key to unlocking your breakthrough. There is no limit to what you can pray for. The scripture stipulates that if you pray for ANYTHING it shall be done for you if you agree.
A person may say l have prayed before with others, gone to the mountains and all night prayers but nothing has happened or its actually getting worse. The secret in power of agreement is to first find someone with the same level of faith with you or even more faith than you.
Once you have identified a group of people or someone you believe has same or more level of faith with you then start prayer sessions. Acts 12:5 (KJV) 5. Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
It was this cooperate prayer of common faith that opened a breakthrough for Peter to be released from prison. By the same token of common faith, God can release you from your prison. Have a group of people you pray with, people who can pray for you when you are in trouble.
Another key to a breakthrough is power of consistent prayer. Luke 11:8-9 (MSG) 8. "But let me tell you, even if he won't get up because he's a friend, if you stand your ground, knocking and waking all the neighbors, he'll finally get up and get you whatever you need. 9."Here's what I'm saying: Ask and you'll get; Seek and you'll find; Knock and the door will open."
This is the story of a man who went to his neighbour to look for food to feed his visitors. It must be understood that it was late at night and everybody was asleep. Most people if they are denied what they are asking for, they give up immediately. We should be like this neighbour, who knocked and would not leave until he got the bread he came looking for even if it was in the middle of the night.
Hence consistent and persistent prayer is very vital to your breakthrough. I encourage you to keep on praying until your miracle comes
Another key is fasting. Matthew 17:19-21 (AMP) 19. "Then the disciples came to Jesus and asked privately, why could we not drive it out? 20. He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith [that is, your lack of firmly relying trust]. For truly I say to you, if you have faith [that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. 21. But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."
There are certain hinderances to breakthrough that can only be addressed by fasting. Jesus had gone for prayer but when He came back He found His disciples having difficulty in casting out a demon.
This kind of mission could not be fulfilled without having fasted. Mathew 4 v 2.
Acts 9:9 when he became blind, Paul fasted until God send Ananias to pray for him. Peninah prayed and fasted until Eli the high priest pronounced that she shall have a son. 1 Samuel 1:7.
All these are examples of how people unlocked their breakthrough through prayer and fasting. You also can achieve your goals and receive your breakthrough if you discipline yourself to prayer and fasting.
Lastly, giving provokes breakthrough. Luke 6:38 (AMP)38. "Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you."
Giving creates room for you to receive. The above scripture shows us that whenever you give it shall be given back to you. Giving must be a lifestyle, a way of life.
The woman who built an upper room for Elijah received a miracle of a son. Her giving and generosity towards the Man of God unlocked her breakthrough.
The widow of Zeraphath also gave the last of what she had and Elisha prayed for her to have an endless supply till the drought was over. Thus giving provokes a breakthrough.
There is so much we can discuss on how to unlock your breakthrough.
I encourage you to take time and read the bible and study the scriptures. It is important to find yourself a church that believes in Jesus Christ and worship God in order to learn and grow.
Until next time God bless
