Giants Highlanders and Dynamos face wanna be giants Scottland and Simba Bhora is a tantalising Sunday programme of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.
Both have gone more than a decade without laying their hands on the main piece of silverware.
They meet teams that have been doing everything right to emulate the giants' glory years.
Simba Bhora are the current champions and Scottland have already been thrust among the favourites to win the championship this season after their spending spree in the transfer market.
Today the two giants in their favourite home comforts confront two teams that seek to replace them in giant's status.
Simba Bhora arrive at Rufaro Stadium full of confidence that they can exert pressure on desperate DeMbare, who are winless going into this match.
Simba Bhora coach Joel Luphahla knows that the pressure on Dynamos can work in their favour.
“The match vs Dynamos on Sunday is a very difficulty game psychologically we need to be up there because we lost the first game when we played the Castle Challenge Cup. So for now we are going to Rufaro to try to get the three points that the club needs,” Luphahla said.

“Its not easy going to play in their home ground. It is very difficult when you face them when they are under pressure and we are also under pressure. The pressure is immense because we are the defending champions.
“So we want to try and make sure that we negotiate our way past them, but we know its not going to be easy”.
Luphahla said he would have preferred for this match to have been played soon after their first win of the season of the season against Herentals.
“We would have preferred to have played last week soon after playing Herentials, but because of the international break its always difficult to pick up yourself after the break but we are trying our best. We are working extra hard to make sure that the boys give a good account of themselves. At the end of the day it is about three points and we are hoping that the gods will favour us, we are hoping also that the boys will perform,” said Luphahla.
Simba Bhora go into this match sitting sixth on the log while Dynamos go into this one searching for only their first win of the season.
They only managed one goal in their first three matches which arrived via an own goal against Tel One.
Scottland arrive at Barbourfields in a desperate position after their defeat to Ngezi Platinum in the last game week.
Highlanders on the other hand have a spring in their step after a couple of positive results.
This sets up a cracker at BF with Scottland owner Pedzisai Sakupwanya having dipped into his bottomless pockets to throw in a sweetener for his side after dangling a winning bonus of $800 for each player.
He declared that his team would win 4-0.
Bosso coach Kelvin Kaindu chose to be modest about his team's chances.
"Football is played on the pitch, we respect them, they will be a tough opponent. All matches in the league are tough so we expect another tough match. But the team that performs better on Sunday will win the game.," Kaindu said.
It promises to be another carnival atmosphere at Barbourfields this afternoon despite the hike in gate charges.
