My Dear People
The chickens are coming home to roost for the failed Lacoste regime and the signs are all over.
Last week, the regime issued a 48-hour ultimatum to local authorities across the country to clear the streets of vendors.
The directive came at a time when Zimbabwe’s towns and cities have been witnessing a surge in the number of informal traders operating from the streets as a result of the collapse of the economy.
Several thousands of people have been thrown into the streets due to company closures and the only means they can feed their families is through vending.
Even Zanu PF has an affiliate known as Vendors4ED.
The surge in the number of people making a living from the streets is a direct result of the mismanagement of the economy by the Lacoste faction since it came to power through very foul means in 2017.
I am reliably told that the real reason behind the ultimatum to remove vendors is that the regime fears an uprising from citizens who can no longer endure the economic hardships that keeping getting worse.

Ngwena’s administration has dismally failed to deliver on its promises to turn around the economy and instead the condition of the common person has worsened.
Only a clique that was correctly described by the Generari as zvigananda are benefitting from the country’s resources.
The Lacoste clique knows that anger is growing among ordinary people and that combined with disaffection in the ruining party ranks and security sector could spur an uprising that could spiral out of control.
Their solution is another Murambitsvina targeting people that are trying to eke out an honest living.

Oppah was uncharacteristically candid when she spoke about the state of Zanu PF, which is in the throes of serious divisions that were last witnessed during Gushungo’s last days in power.
She told a meeting at Shake Shake Building last Thursday that Zanu PF’s infamous resolution number one calling for Ngwena to remain in power until 2030 was being weaponised by a “few individuals” to fuel divisions.
The obvious targets of that message are part of the clique that has been vocal in calling for Ngwena to hang onto power beyond 2028 when his term officially comes to an end.
Oppah, who is the ruining party’s chairperson and Defence minister, spoke a week after a wave of expulsions and suspensions of people suspected to be supporters of the Generari.
Her statements also coincided with the broadcast of a recording of Chris, who some mischievous people now refer to as Manhize, where he revealed that the 2030 madness was actually Ngwena’s creation to checkmate his deputy and manage his succession.
Chris exposed his deep hatred for the Generari and tried very much to discredit his credentials as a soldier and politician.
That the gloves are off in the ruining party is no longer a secret and the recording just confirmed something that I have been warning you about since that cowardly coup.
We are seeing history repeating itself as two distinct factions go toe to toe in the epic fight for the soul of the ruining party. The sad thing is that they don’t seem to have learnt anything from Gushungo’s inglorious exit.

On July 23, 2023, a month before the controversial harmonised elections where Ngwena was seeking a second term in office, state controlled rags ran a screaming headline that said: “President intervenes on Byo-Vic Falls road.’
The story, which was off course a lie, claimed that construction giant, Bitumen World, had deployed three well-equipped teams to undertake intense road maintenance and rehabilitation work along the highway that connects the prime resort to the rest of the country.
“The swift intervention is in response to an outcry by the motoring public and business leaders who have appealed to the government to urgently attend to the extensive damage on the strategic road in order to restore smooth transportation,” read the story.
“The public concern has prompted President Mnangagwa to direct that resources be immediately availed to kick-start massive rehabilitation works, and the contractor is already on the ground, Transport and Infrastructure Development minister, Felix Mhona said.”
It took a viral image of three people believed to be tourists posing for a photo while sitting inside a huge pothole on the road to dismantle the lie.
Mhona’s ministry was forced to issue a statement denying that the image was taken along the Bulawayo-Victoria Falls Road.
“While we acknowledge that certain sections of the highway are in dire need of rehabilitation, the images in the post do not correspond to any section of the Bulawayo-Victoria Falls highway,” the ministry claimed.
“The sections requiring urgent attention are currently being addressed through a collaborative effort between the Department of Roads and Bitumen World.
“Work is already underway, with teams camped in Hwange, Halfway, and Insiza to ensure the road is rehabilitated efficiently.”
The statement, however, was akin to adding fuel to a raging fire as Zimbabweans shared videos and pictures to challenge the latest dose of lies.
They also picked that the ministry claimed that there were teams rehabilitating the road stationed in Insiza, which cannot be possible because while the Bulawayo-Victoria Falls Road straddles Matabeleland North, Insiza is in Matabeleland South.
They say lies have short legs and that comical pothole photo proved just that! Kikikiki
