Kadoma demands more international acts

South African duo — Blaq Diamond

PARTY lovers in Kadoma have publicly demanded more international acts to grace the gold mining city after they were serenaded by Koffie Olomide and Mafikizolo recently.

Kadoma has been made a to-go city for international acts and recently Olomide; Mafikizolo shared the stage with local artistes in the city. It was Mafikizolo's second time to perfom in Kadoma.

Durban's finest DJ Tira also performed in Kadoma last year.

Inclined to Kadoma's demands, 2 Kings Entertainment has organised a star-studded show dubbed July Festival that will be headlined by South African duo — Blaq Diamond. The duo will be supported by locals Nutty O, Ammara Brown, and Uncle Epatan.

“Soon after the Koffie Olomide show our patrons were demanding for another artiste and we thought of giving them something new from across the Limpopo River and we saw Blaq Diamond fit for the occasion of the debut July Fest,” said Dee Nosh, the organiser of the event.

“It’s a first of its kind, a mixed bag of artistes, Afro-pop, dancehall and sungura.

“The South African duo will be supported by exceptional local artistes.

“The festival aims to promote young talent from various genres and facilitate exchange programmes with their South African counterparts.”

Fans will fork out US$5 for the ordinary ticket and US$15 VIP.
