LOCAL top model Sakhile Dube is basking in glory after winning two titles at the Miss Supranational pageant held recently in Poland.
The 14th edition was held at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska and drew 65 contestants from across the globe.
Dube walked home with the Miss Supranational Africa and Supra Top Model crowns.
Posting on social media platforms, the model said she was super excited about winning the titles.
“The Miss Supranational experience taught me that vulnerability fosters empathy and allows us to see ourselves as exactly who we are, that is a lesson I will forever cherish from this journey,” she posted.
Dube became the first pageant queen to represent the country at the Miss Supranational since it started in 2009.
She did most of her ramp walks dressed by local designers.
