DJ Iroq Spins Fete for awards, career and birthday at Mashwede

Iroq expresses his appreciation for Mashwede's patrons, praising their unwavering support and energy, calling them "the best in the world".

AWARD winning wheel-spinner and entertainment personality DJ Iroq will tonight throw a birthday bash at Mashwede Village in Harare, marking both personal and professional milestones.

Mashwede Village, Located along Highglen road near Glen View Furniture complex, is an entertainment centre comprising bars, various food courts, including chicken mash, pizza mash, mash treats and also many other entertaining activities for the kids and adults.

Iroq was bestowed with the Best Club DJ award whilst Mashwede were awarded as the best club supporting the genre at the Zim hip hop awards held in December.

“I am reflecting on career progression, venturing into management and corporate engagements, along with international bookings and collaborations with top artists like Jah Prayzah and Winky D,” he said.

Iroq expresses his appreciation for Mashwede's patrons, praising their unwavering support and energy, calling them "the best in the world".

“I feel happy to be recognised as the best in the country as well as to know that my efforts promoting the hip-hop culture are being recognised; that alone inspires me to do more for the culture,”

“I also appreciated Mashwede patrons; they are the ones who fuel what we do. They are the best in the world, their support and energy every week is unmatched, I would never want to go a week without performing there (Mashwede Village)”.

 “This year I am going to facilitate Mashwede to have a second spot in the leafy suburbs popularly known as the North of Samora. We intend to be the best in the business, we want to capture both worlds, the north and the south (ghettos),” he said.

 DJ Iroq has promised a solid line-up of performers for tonight’s celebrations of not just life but of music and a culture.
