POP star Mj Sings has broken his silence with the release of his new Afro-pop song dubbed Low Key.
The song is a follow up to the artist’s last project Umuzi which contained love songs such as Konke.
A landscape of love and lust.
According to a press statement, Low Key is an Afro-pop and Afro-beats single that narrates the pros and cons of containing a new intimate relationship from public scrutiny and the pressures that come with outside interference,”
Its multi-lingual expression which is in English, Ndebele and Swahili connects it back to its African roots. The perfectly paired smooth guitars, rhythmic percussion, sultry vocals and groovy log drums give it an immersive landing spot. It evokes a romantic and fun mood with its head-nodding catchy hook and a refreshing new experience for first time listeners.
The song was written and performed by multi-award winning singer and songwriter MJ Sings and produced by Multi-Platinum producer Murphy Cubic and distributed by UK-based Khaya Lyf.
