Liquid Intelligent Technologies, a leading pan-African technology group operating in several countries including Zimbabwe, has donated Wi-Fi service to Gokomere High School and Mission.
Speaking to The Standard after the donation last week, chairman of the board of trustees of Gokomere Alumini Society Professor Zivanai Cuthbert Chapanduka said the donation had come at a time the school was going through a difficult patch due to various issues, underlined by the general national economic hardships.
“On behalf of the Board of Trustees of the Gokomere Alumni Society, I would like to express our infinite gratitude to Liquid Intelligent Technologies for the generous donation of free Wi-Fi services covering the High School, the Primary School and the Mission,” Chapanduka said.
“The Big Blue 100 link is providing peak 20mbps with bursts of up to 100mbps which goes a long way to meet the needs.
“This high impact donation is therefore received with profound gratitude.
“Liquid Intelligent Technologies is not only known for its superior products and services, but its generosity is well recognised and Gokomere is thankful to be a beneficiary.”
Gokomere High School headmaster Emmanuel Muvengi was upbeat about the donation.
