Mudiwa responds to gay claims, again

Mudiwa says it will never be the Lord's intention for same sex marriages and reiterated that he was a heterosexual man attracted to heterosexual women

Zimbabwean rapper, singer, and businessman Mudiwa Hood has rubbished claims of him being gay after a photo of him looking cozy with South African choreographer, Somizi went viral on social media.

The picture, an Instagram screenshot from an unverified page allegedly belonging to Somizi, was posted by CreedSkeptic (@makavelliSmart) on X.

Mudiwa said he was nothing like the short man seen with Somizi.

"If you ever believe this nonsense and narrative yeNgito/gay you are just a pure hater, get a life. I'm a saved Christian who believes in a God who burnt Sodom and Gomorah for such immorality according to our beliefs as Christians. There is absolutely nothing and there will never be anything in me that will ever feel for another man, I cannot even imagine my self feeling anything for another man, how? Never ever!!" he said in an X post.

Mudiwa says it will never be the Lord's intention for same sex marriages and reiterated that he was a heterosexual man attracted to heterosexual women

"I was married and got divorced and have a son. I will be married again, it’s just not something that should be rushed. This is the first and last I address such nonsense," he said.

It is, however, not the first time Mudiwa has addressed such allegations as his sexuality has always been shoudred in speculation.

In March 2022, Mudiwa posted, "Saka ukaona munhu anogeza ato gay, am so straight manje, kungogonawo kugeza chete" (If you see someone who is clean does that mean he is gay? It's just being able to bath).

Many fans have been wondering whether the artist- turned-businessman is gay and whether his posting of himself with women is just compensatory.

Some wondered why he was so touched by the pic from a seemingly fake account and why he didn't just ignore it since he says he is straight.

Kissad (@Kissadho) said: "Who do you want to convince here? I guess it's yourself."

InnoeMachizy (@InnoeMachizy) said: "Aikaka thought the last address you said the last address u (you) made before this one was the last one on this chapter,"

Many fans took to social streets to tell Mudiwa Hood to just keep working on his businesses and ignore public scrutiny in the true tradition of businessman Wicknell Chivayo who is not known to lash back at negative criticism.

Award-winning journalist, Hopewell Chin'ono(@DaddyHope) posted, "Slow down young man and concentrate on your life. Unoshanda nguvai (what time do you work) when you are always in one X  battle or another?"

The hood guy in black said "For someone who is a millionaire and businessman you tweet and respond what people say about you on social media sir. I think you should follow your fellow brothers(@wicknellchivayo)."
