Dancehall King, Winky D, surprised his legion of fans with the release of an extended play (EP) dubbed Pabho.
The release coincided with his 42th birthday on February 1. The EP dropped with no prior marketing or hint.
The six-track EP features songs such as PaTonaz, which serves as an introduction, Siya, Kudhakwa, Fake Love, Zvatanga and the title track, which features Bling 4.
“I am deeply grateful to all of you who celebrated my Earth Day through supporting my release - Pabho EP,” wrote Winky D.
Winky D went on to acknowledge challenges in his career and to embrace new sounds in his musical direction.
“Your vibrant support made this milestone truly special and reinforced the strength of our Gafa community.
“Together, we are creating a space where creativity thrives, and your presence on this journey means the world to me.
“As I continue to explore new sounds and overcome hurdles, I am excited to have you by my side. Thank you for being an integral part of this mission — let's keep pushing boundaries.”

In a move to embrace new technologies, producer Jussa Dementor created a full artificial intelligence video for the song Fake Love.
“I’m thrilled to announce that I have created the first full-feature AI music video for one of Zimbabwe's biggest artists, Winky D,” wrote Jussa Dumentor.
“It was an incredible experience reimagining the story of Samson and Delilah to bring his song about fake love to life. Grateful to be part of this journey.”
The EP comes after Winky D trended following his performance in Mbare at the Swan launch.
