Aesthetician Pamela Munemo honoured

Aesthetic Laser Centre founder and director Pamela Munemo was among scores of people that were honoured at the Zim Community Trailblazers Awards (ZCTA) held last Friday in Harare.

Munemo walked home with the Most Outstanding Beauty and Wellness Entrepreneur gong at the fifth edition of the awards which seek to honour trailblazers who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation and commitment to creating positive impact in the country.

More than 70 gongs were dished out at the prestigious awards that were graced by people from all walks of life.

The ZCTA are organised by a local media company - Perfection Media.

Munemo told Standard Style that the award marked a significant milestone for Aesthetic Laser Centre, which has played a pioneering role in the country’s aesthetic industry.

Established in 2018, the centre has been at the forefront of introducing cutting-edge cosmetic treatments and non-invasive procedures, transforming the beauty and wellness landscape in the country.

“Receiving this award is not just a personal achievement for me, but a long-awaited recognition for the Aesthetic Laser Centre, which has set the standard for excellence in aesthetic treatments,” Munemo said.

“As we celebrate our seventh anniversary, we are gearing up for an exciting new chapter — transitioning into a full-fledged cosmetic surgery clinic.

“This expansion aims to provide advanced medical aesthetic services, further revolutionising the industry.”

Munemo’s visionary leadership has not only reshaped beauty and wellness in Zimbabwe, but has also inspired many to join the industry, fostering job creation and economic growth.

“My commitment to innovation continues to break barriers, paving the way for the next generation of beauty entrepreneurs,” she said.

“With this prestigious award, Aesthetic Laser Centre looks ahead to a future of even greater impact, reaffirming its mission to provide top-tier aesthetic and cosmetic services in Zimbabwe and beyond.”

Munemo paid tribute to the organisers of the awards, saying they were making significant contributions to the community.
