Asaph Africa releases heartfelt single

Asaph Africa said he wants to show that embracing responsibilities and settling down can be a transformative experience.

LOCAL musician Asaph Africa has unveiled his latest single titled Forever Yours, a heartfelt track inspired by his wife and daughter, with the song's narrative centred on the promises he made to them about being a devoted husband and father.

Speaking to Standard Style, Asaph Afrika indicated that the love song was a testament of his family's love for him.

“The story behind the song is the story of my wife and my daughter", he said.

"It talks about our story and the promises I made to them about the type of husband and father I want to be.”

“I was inspired by them. Their love has really changed my life. The way I view things and approach the world is so different now.

“I’ve received a few comments from people who knew me before and after and I can safely say I am changing for the better because of their love so I want to honour them through this song.”

Asaph Africa indicated that he hopes his song inspired by his personal experiences, will inspire others to reconsider their views on love and settling down.

He noted that many people today seem hesitant to fall in love and build families.

By sharing his own story, Asaph Africa said he wants to show that embracing responsibilities and settling down can be a transformative experience.

He also added that taking care of loved ones and being a responsible partner can bring a fresh perspective on life.
