
Zimbabwean author and public speaker Kudakwashe Muganu has been nominated for the Emerge Africa Awards to be held in Midrand, South Africa in April.
The certified life coach, philanthropist, and entrepreneur is competing for the Best Motivational Speaker award against Mohamed Talk.
He shared his excitement exclusively with Standard Style.
“I am very excited to be nominated and recognised on this prestigious platform in South Africa,” Muganu said.
“We live in a world where opportunities and challenges co-exist.
“As an individual, you can choose where to focus your attention.
“The sky is the limit – you can become whatever you choose.
“Naturally, I was born with a stammer. I began speaking when I was five years old.

“I am not ashamed or embarrassed to share this information because I thank God that I can speak. Half a loaf is better than none.
“I did not dwell on my limitations. I worked diligently on my speaking skills.
“Today, I am a preacher, motivational speaker, and Christian life coach. My speaking gift has taken me to places I could never have imagined.”
“He clarified that he does not consider himself an entertainer.
“Essentially, I am a communicator — I convey my ideas through speaking, counselling, and writing. I am not an entertainer, but a transformational speaker who motivates, builds, inspires, and educates people.”
Muganu acknowledged the need for community support.
“Honestly, you cannot build an empire alone. You need the help of others to succeed,” he said.

Regarding advice for others with similar aspirations, he said:
“Never underestimate your humble beginnings; this is how greatness is formed, by taking small steps. Persevere and endure the process.
“Do not let anyone tell you that it is impossible. Aim high, dream big, and work diligently on your goals to turn them into reality.”
