Diversified business group Golden Knot Holdings has pledged support for local businesses and entrepreneurs intending to invest in Dubai Real Estate to unlock value for their local investments through equity loans and return on investment through capital appreciation.

Speaking to Standard Style, the company’s group chief executive officer Peace Pundu said locals must leverage on her personal investment experience and the Golden Knot Holdings’ business footprint in Dubai to unlock value through informed real estate investments.

“Local companies can benefit from the Dubai Real Estate investment opportunity by leveraging on real estate investment to get equity loans and return on investment through capital appreciation from their investments in Dubai “ she said.

“I have a lived experience of real estate in Dubai and I am happy that our company which has been operating for 20 years in Zimbabwe already has presence in Dubai.

It’s a practical and feasible undertaking which we are ready to facilitate at Golden Knot Holdings and we invite all progressive entrepreneurs and businesses to engage us for this facility,” she said.

Pundu’s sentiments come on the backdrop of the recent two day Invest in Dubai Business forum held at the Celebration Center in Harare where her company partnered Damac Properties and AX Premium properties for an incisive two days session to educate local business minds, investors and property enthusiasts on how to secure real estate opportunities in Dubai.

Pundu told Standard Style that the Dubai Real Estate industry offers some lucrative real estate investment opportunities which can aid local growth for businesses and the recent business forum they held in Zimbabwe was one of the many they will host across Africa to sensitize progressive minds on real estate investment opportunities in Dubai.

“I have lived and worked in Dubai and I am proud to say our local business investments have immensely benefited from capitalisation opportunities unlocked through other real estate ventures in Dubai. We are therefore geared to use our presence, experience and partnerships in Dubai to facilitate similar opportunities for locals.

The recent Invest in Dubai Business forum we hosted in Zimbabwe is one of the many we will host in Zimbabwe and beyond until our people have an appreciation of the opportunities that await them. The hope is that this real estate venture creates growth that will help them invest better back home,” Pundu said.

Pundu also shared on the conducive business environment in Dubai highlighting that Zimbabweans can enjoy similar ease of doing business in Dubai so that they equally grow their empires locally.

“Dubai is a friendly a city where you can do investments. There is no discrimination in Dubai because 90 percent of the people living and working there are expatriates which makes it home to all,” she said.

“What I have gathered given my status as a Golden Visa holder in Dubai is that real estate investments accumulate value rapidly and property ownership also unlocks funding opportunities for your business.

“The opportunities are endless and I hope that we tap into this opportunity with a view to grow and promote our ongoing business ventures back home.”

Damac Properties representative Habeeb Khan said they were happy to partner with Golden Knot Holdings in unlocking value in Dubai real estate for locals riding on the Zimbabwe is open for business mantra.

“Zimbabwe is a nation of hard-working people and we are happy to partner with Golden Knot Holdings in unlocking even better value through investments in Dubai. We are equally encouraged by the local business operating environment that has allowed for our synergy with Golden Knot Holdings,” he said.

“We are one of the biggest property companies in Dubai and we are happy to work with Golden Knot Holdings in facilitating purchase of property, registering companies and expanding local businesses to Dubai at the same time facilitating agreement processes. The goal is to make local entrepreneurs appreciate endless opportunities that await them in Dubai.”

Habeeb said their recent trip to Zimbabwe has opened their eyes to the hardworking and enterprising spirit of locals and pledged to continue working Golden Knot Holdings to support local ventures.

“Dubai is the number 2 highest visited city and the second safest city in the world with an amazing culture representation. About 70% of fortune companies from across the globe choose Dubai as an investment destination and that has aided their growth and benefitted their economies back home," he said.

“Our recent trip to Zimbabwe has opened our eyers to the enterprising spirit of Zimbabweans some of who have already started their Dubai investment initiatives. So much is available for locals can also expand their businesses there which will benefit their country Zimbabwe.”

Arun Purohit, an investment consultant also told Standard Style that the Dubai real estate was a young market with endless opportunities for locals.

“The Dubai real estate is a young market with lots of opportunities in comparison to other markets like Hongkong which are now considered old markets. All people across the globe are coming to invest and we urge Zimbabweans to ride on the goodwill of our Zimbabwean partner Golden Knot Holdings to explore opportunities in Dubai," he said.

"As Damac properties, we are there to guide on when and where to invest, how to market properties, how to mortgage property and how to set up businesses in Dubai so that they grow beyond their current margins.”

Golden Knot Holdings Group chief operating officer Providence Mugayi said they are a brand come of age and they were  happy to play their part in unlocking value for local business as part of their contribution to Zimbabwe’s economic growth.

“We are a brand come of age with over 20 years of operations covering various sectors like legal aid cover, health services, funeral assurance, financial services and hospitality among others. Our footprint speaks for us and we are proud to continue innovating as we explore ways to serve our people and our country better," he said.

This partnership with Damac Properties and AX Premium properties is a new high which we believe will bring a lot value to local entrepreneurs. We are living no stone unturned in our quest to raise a generation of progressive citizens that add value to the local economy.”
