BY KUDZAI CHITSATSO Dancehall chanter Tafadzwa Malvern Simon Mbangani, known as Eyetal Fyah in music circles, says his new project an extended play (EP) titled Ladies Free seeks to empower the girl child.
Eyetal Fyah told Standard Style that the project to hit the streets this month, carries six tracks and videos while featuring local artist Mr Ealy.
“We are releasing a six-track EP accompanied by videos this month,” Eyetal Fyah said.
“The extended play (EP) was produced AT Gyallis Records, Still We Rise Records and Chillout Foundation.”
“We also have collaboration with Mr Early on a track titled Thanda Magate and it will be on our video-sharing platform YouTube and Sound Cloud.”
The dancehall artiste said he was inspired to release the project by the plight of the girl child.
“The EP is a dedication to all the ladies out there as I try to empower the girl child by reaching out to them with my motivating music,” Eyetal Fyah.
“Women should know their value and their worth, especially black women.”

“I have seen my sisters suffering so much trying to make it in society. Some are even bleaching [their skin]. Women are losing themselves just to gain the world.”
Eyetal Fyah believes women should do their own thing.
“I believe ladies should stop going into unnecessary competition with one love,” he said.
Eyetal Fyah’s last album is titled Hieroghphics released in 2020, which carries hits such as She Want a Man, Shillings and Gangster Deh Yah.
