Garden of House unites creatives

Speaking to NewsDay Life & Style, Bulawayo Exclusive Events spokesperson Gugulethu Tshuma said combining a diverse line-up of artists at the event sought to celebrate the rich diversity of house music and create an inclusive environment for both performers and attendees.

LOCAL emerging and established wheel spinners will showcase their skills at the fifth edition of the Garden of House concert this Sunday at Mystique Gardens in Fourwinds, Bulawayo.

Speaking to NewsDay Life & Style, Bulawayo Exclusive Events spokesperson Gugulethu Tshuma said combining a diverse line-up of artists at the event sought to celebrate the rich diversity of house music and create an inclusive environment for both performers and attendees.

“Events organisers collaborate with local vendors, such as food trucks, beverage companies, and merchandise sellers, to create a vibrant marketplace within the event space. This not only provides these businesses with an opportunity to increase their sales, but also adds to the overall experience for attendees,” Tshuma said.

Tshuma said the impact of the Garden of House event on local businesses could not be understated, adding that small to medium-scale enterprises often struggled with limited resources and marketing budgets, making it challenging for them to compete with larger corporations.

The success of Garden of House and similar events lies in their ability to create a sense of community and foster collaboration.

“By partnering these businesses, Garden of House helps to create fair competition, allowing them to reach a wider audience and generate much-needed revenue,” Tshuma noted.

“Bringing together local DJs, businesses, and music enthusiasts, these events create a supportive network that encourages growth and innovation within the local music arena.”
