Ti Gonzi to release memoir

Ti Gonzi has long been a vocal critic of what he perceives as corruption, exploitation, and unfair practices within the industry.

TI GONZI, known for his provocative lyrics and outspoken nature, is set to release a book that promises to be as explosive as his music.

The book will chronicle Ti Gonzi's journey through the Zimbabwean music scene, pulling back the curtain on its alleged "dark secrets".

The announcement came during a press conference for Action Empowerment Zimbabwe's "Voice Up" campaign, where Ti Gonzi was unveiled as the campaign's new ambassador. brand manager Spencer Mafede emphasized the campaign's focus on empowering youths to find their purpose and rise above challenges.

While details about the book's specific contents remain under wraps, the mere mention of Ti Gonzi exposing the industry's underbelly has already sent shockwaves throughout the Zimbabwean music community.

The combination of personal anecdotes and industry secrets has the potential to turn "Unsilenced" into a major cultural event, making it one of the most anticipated releases in recent Zimbabwean memory.

Mafede said the voice up campaign will be taken to the youths.

“The voice up campaign will next year see Ti Gonzi having a lot of shows in different institutions for youths with the motive to entertain, encourage and motivate through his music and his life story," he said.

Turning to the book, Mafede said:

“Ti Gonzi will be launching a book packed with music industry secrets and also looking into the goodness of the industry as well as his life experiences,"

AEZ President Alson Darikayi  said the rapper will play a pivotal role as their association's ambassador.

“Ti gonzi will be playing a pivotal role  in the activities of AEZ  as we go across the country empowering  lives. He will walk with us the journey of transforming lives and delivering real economic empowerment and impacting communities and youths,“ said Darikayi
