ZIMBABWEAN midfielder Butholezwe Ncube has signed a contract extension to keep him at Amazulu until 2022, the South African Premiership football side announced on Saturday.

The 26-year-old former Tsholotsho FC player signed for the Durban-based club in 2016 when they were still in the second-tier South African First Division and has since established himself as a key player at the club.
Amazulu, who paid their way back into the South African top-flight league after purchasing the franchise of National First Division champions Thanda Royal Zulu FC in 2017, confirmed Ncube’s contract extension on their official website yesterday.
“The club has extended the services of hardworking 26-year-old Zimbabwean defensive midfielder, Butholezwe Ncube, for another three years. Ncube has made a strong contribution since joining Usuthu three years ago,” Amazulu said.
The promising midfielder expressed delight with his new deal which is set to expire in 2022.
“I’m happy to be here and I’ll always work hard for the team. I want to succeed in fulfilling a lot of things with the team.
“I won’t relax because now I have a new contract, I’m going to be pushing hard for the best of the team,” he said.

The hardworking defensive midfielder received his first Zimbabwe international call-up in May 2018 during the inaugural edition of the Four Nations Tournament held in Zambia.
