Yadah to unleash Brazilians on DeMbare

Pedro, Farias and De Brito were in the terraces at Yadah’s previous match to watch their team lose 3-1 to Chicken Inn at Baobab Stadium.

Yadah are ready to unleash their newly-signed Brazilian trio on Dynamos tomorrow when the two teams clash in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Barbourfields Stadium.

The three, Joao Pedro (20), Luciano Farias (21) and Pereira de Brito (20), signed two-year contracts with the Miracle Boys, and coach Expense Chitukutuku said the trio was ready to make its debut.

Pedro, Farias and De Brito were in the terraces at Yadah’s previous match to watch their team lose 3-1 to Chicken Inn at Baobab Stadium.

“They are now ready for their debut because we were working on preparing them for this task,” Chitukutuku said.

The coach said his team was ready for the Glamour Boys.

“Football is all about winning, drawing and losing but we are working on being consistent. We are in PSL and we must face every team in the PSL and we are always ready to face any team. As usual we are working hard to improve individually and as a team,” Chitukutuku said.

Yadah are 14th on the log-table with 17 points ahead of the DeMbare game.

Dynamos are having a mixed season, and their four-match unbeaten run — with three victories and a draw — was disturbed by a narrow defeat to Green Fuel last week.

The Harare giants are missing five key players against Yadah.

Tanaka Shandirwa, Denver Mukamba, Kevin Moyo are suspended, while Donald Dzvinyai and Frank Makarati will miss tomorrow's match due to ill-health.

Issa Sadiki, on loan from the Miracle Boys, is ineligible for the game against his parent team.

Coach Herbert Maruwa, however, is defiant: “Those who are going to come in will have to do well and try to cement their places in the team.”

The Glamour Boys are in the chasing pack, sitting fifth with 25 points, nine behind early pacesetters, Highlanders.
