Genius Mutungamiri came to Chicken Inn’s rescue with an 80th minute equaliser as they shared the spoils with visiting Triangle at Luveve Stadium yesterday.
Mutungamiri was again the hero last week when he scored for the Gamecocks in their one-all stalemate against Caps United at Bata Stadium.
Triangle were left disappointed as they failed to hold on to their lead with 10 minutes of action remaining.
Never Rauchi had thrust Triangle into the lead in the 27th minute, nodding home a corner kick swung in by Carlos Musemwa.
Triangle assistant coach John Nyikadzino standing in for Thulani Sibanda expressed his disappointment on failing to bag the maximum points, especially the calibre of the goal that they conceded.
"I thought with a bit of luck we were supposed to win. We conceded a soft goal, a deflection which was difficult for the goalkeeper to deal with, a very simple goal for Chicken Inn. We really wanted a win, but unfortunately we didn't get it," said Nyikadzino.

The match kicked off on a low note with Triangle comfortable to maintain their shape at the back, soaking up the pressure hoping to hit the Gamecocks on the break.
On the other hand Chicken Inn were searching for an early goal to unsettle the opponents.
Triangle had lady luck to thank in the 24th minute after Malvern Hwata’s header was cleared off the line and they took the lead moments later.
The second half provided more excitement than the first half with the home team chasing the game.
Prince Matore introduced the Gamecocks talisman Brian Muza for Obert Malajila.
The substitute almost made an impact in the 72nd minute but his effort was ruled out for offside.
Mutungamiri then equalised in the 80th minute from a Charamba pass. His shot took a wicked deflection off a Triangle defender and deceived an already committed Nyasoka , sending the sizable Gamecocks crowd into a delirium.
Matore blamed the team's poor decision making in the final third.
"It was pointless to have the ball and do the wrong things in the final third. We ended up losing the ball when we wanted it to be played. At times we resorted to using long balls which we didn't want. So the decision making was very poor today," said Matore.
