MIDLANDS rivals FC Platinum and TelOne FC ended the 2024 PSL season with a drab 0-0 draw in a match played at Mandava stadium yesterday.
FC Platinum end the season on second position, with 61 points on their tally. Their Midlands rivals, TelOne managed to preserve their PSL status, to end their campaign with 42 points on their tally.
And both coach, Norman Mapeza and Herbert Maruwa heaped praise on their players for their resilience throughout the season.
FC Platinum's Mapeza said: "It's a good way to end the season. We are pleased with the progress, we now move on and much praise is given to the players.
"They worked hard game in, game out. It was not an easy season for us. We had a alot of challenges but we managed to overcome them.
"Everyone played their part and hopefully, we can improve on ourselves as we now get some time to rest and reflect."

Maruwa said his season's mission has been completed after helping the team surviving relegation, with two games to spare.
"Its a succesful mission for us. We have been working hard since I came here. I'm glad we managed to succeed in remaining in the PSL.
"It was a season of ups and downs but as a coach I am happy with the level of energy that each and everyone put in to help the team,"Maruwa said.
In this match, the two teams started in low tempo as they had nothing to fight for, hence putting up a reserved approach to the match.
Striker Thandolenkosi Ngwenya got the first oppurtunity of the match, with the goalie Criss Mverechena at his mercy but his effort went over the bar.
Devine Mhindirira also won FC Platinum a free-kick at the edge of the box after the half-hour mark, but Brian Banda missed the target.
On the other hand, TelOne had a good chance on the stroke of half-time, through Fradrick Muza but his low shot was saved by David Bizabani.
FC Platinum then came near after 77 minutes, with Brian Banda hitting the cross bar as goalie Mverechena, remained rooted at one spot.
