Dynamos sports director Richard Chihoro, who died last week after a short illness, will be buried at Zororo Cemetery in Harare this afternoon.
Chihoro was part of DeMbare's success having been one of the assistant coaches between 2007 and 2009 when they reached the Caf Champions League and Caf Confederation Cup semi finals.
The late David Mandigora was the head coach while David George and Chihoro were the assistants.
George is also late as is Nyika Chifamba, who was team manager.
Former DeMbare defender Thomas Svesve used his social media handle to pay tribute to Chihoro and other technical team members.
"2025 started badly, my former coach at Dynamos passed on. Chihoro the last man standing, one of our coaches from the 2007, 2008 and 2009 squad that reached the Caf Champions League and Confederation Cup semi finals in 2008," wrote former Dynamos defender Thomas Svesve.
Chihoro, popularly known as Nyoka was also part of the team's success having been team manager when Dynamos won four consecutive titles under Kalisto Pasuwa.
He has stayed in the club structures although having had an on and off relationship he has been a key cog.

Chihoro is said to have suffered a suspected heart attack and his body was taken to Rufaro and Gwanzura stadiums yesterday ahead of the final trip to his home.
The Premier Soccer League (PSL) joined other football stakeholders in paying tribute to the Dynamos colossal figure.
"The Premier league extends its heartfelt condolences to the Chihoro family, friends and the entire football family following the death of Dynamos former team manager Richard Chihoro," PSL wrote in a statement.
"Chihoro was a dedicated servant of the game whose contribution will forever be remembered. We honour his legacy and the significant role he played in shaping the success of Dynamos and inspiring those around him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and all those who knew him during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace."
Chihoro had a lot of success as a coach having won the league title in 2007 as one of the coaches, but he did a lot in the juniors where he had stints nurturing budding talent.
