My Dear People
THE arrest of Alpha Media Holdings senior reporter Blessed Mhlanga has once again shown the penchant by the Scarfmore regime to score spectacular own goals and its phobia of democracy.
Mhlanga was arrested for allegedly breaching section 164 of the Cybersecurity and Data Protection Act by “transmitting data messages that incite violence”.
This was after the Heart and Soul broadcast of an interview with war veteran Blessed Geza who tore into the Scarfed One whom he accused of gross leadership failures.
Geza also castigated the push for the leader of the dispensation of poverty, darkness and confusion to amend the constitution to enable him to extend his leadership tenure from 2028 to 2030.
Mhlanga’s arrest has caused widespread outrage and is yet another blot on the governance record of the so- called second repubric.
That Mhlanga’s comes less than a week after the Scarfed One met with local editors in an interface meeting, poses major questions of the octogenarian’s sincerity in fostering a harmonious relationship with members of the fourth estate.
It is embarrassing that the regime now targets Mhlanga after its failure to arrest Geza which has all the hallmarks of looking for a scapegoat.

It is a dark day for journalism in the country when one is incarcerated for simply doing their job.
It is such vile acts that ensures that even eight years after being propelled into power on the back of guns and tanks, the Scarfmore regime continue to be shunned by the international community as proved by its dismal failure to be readmitted into the Commonwealth as well as the continued sanctions by the United States and United Kingdom.
Munopengaaa!!!
It has been a somber period for your good doctor as I recently commemorated the 21st of February which is the date of birth of Gushungo, one of the continent’s greatest leaders whose wisdom and telescopic foresight remains unparalleled.
I find it scandalous that when the day is commemorated, the emphasis is on Youth Day and not on the great day that one of the continents founding fathers was born.
Heeeee Pwyouth this Pwyouth that when focus of that day should squarely be on celebrating the icon that was Gushungo. Nonsense!!!
There is not a shred of probity at all by this regime. Anyway that is a topic for another day.
Who can forget the annual birthday celebrations, which Zimbabweans far and wide scurried to the nearest television screen to watch?.
The birthday cakes for Gushungo were so huge that the villagers in the area, where the celebrations would have been held, would all be able to grab a crumb or two of the scrumptious cake.
It was always a day to behold.
The Scarfed One has also tried to turn his birthday into a national event with the introduction of Munhumutapa Day to coincide with his day of birth.
This is a pitiful and desperate attempt to give validation to Scarfmore’s leadership that has been pockmarked with failure.
That the scarfed one has introduced this day, which will be commemorated annually, as a day to also mark what he calls his success as a leader, is laughable.
The difference between the success enjoyed by Munhumutapa leaders and the catastrophic leadership of the Scarfmore regime, characterised by increased poverty, high inflation, failed currencies, company closures, job losses, prolonged power outages that have grounded industry and endemic corruption, could not be more stark.

First lady and the country’s health ambassador Auxilia has been visiting womens’ and childrens’ hospitals in Australia.
I do hope that the visit will open her eyes on what proper hospitals operate unlike those public hospitals back home which have become death traps with no basic facilities such as painkillers and bandages.
The visit to Australian hospitals by the country’s health ambassador, Dr Amai 11 is timely given the recent embarrassment of patients of the horrific Beitbridge accident being wrapped up in cardboard plaster, in this day and age, as a result of acute shortages of basic materials in public health institutions.
It is my fervent wish that during her visit she also gets inspired to help ensure that there is an adequate fleet of ambulances at public hospitals, and not the shameful spectacle of one of the largest referral health institutions, Parirenyatwa Hospital having just one functional ambulance as revealed in a recent report by the Auditor General.
I also hope she met cheerful, dedicated and well paid health workers Down Under unlike those at home who are fleeing in their thousands to greener pastures due to appalling working conditions.
It remains to be seen whether the trip to Australia by Dr Amai 11 will provoke a major improvement in the country’s health sector and benefit the country’s citizens or will prove to be yet another monumental waste of taxpayers’ money.

The expulsion of self- imposed Citizens Coalition for Change secretary general and buffoon Sengezo Tshabangu by the faction led by Welshman Ncube is the latest circus act within the country’s opposition.
It is ironic that both Ncube and Tshabangu who are battling to get their grubby hands on the Political Parties funding did not even participate in the flawed 2023 harmonised elections on which these funds are premised.
No wonder why Nero, who secured more than two million votes during that election, has washed his hands off this idiocy.
