BULAWAYO fashion designer Saneliso Mpofu of Sanah Designs who welcomed her baby boy recently, said being a mother has inspired her to work extra hard to grow her brand.
Sanah revealed that at some time she was forced to take a sabbatical during her pregnancy period.
“In the first three months into pregnancy I was going through the most beautiful and priceless moment, I couldn’t even work as I was going through trimester.
“Nothing is more inspiring than feeling a life growing inside your body. It is a wonderful sensation that, for most women, creates an unbreakable bond between a mother and her child.
“Then I got up after three months and worked hard since It wasn’t about me only, but an additional whole human being whom I call my best friend— a baby boy,” Mpofu told Standard Style.
Sanah designs are set to announce something new in the near future after months of working in silence.
“I have been working on growing and expanding the brand, there is growth in the fashion industry and more space to be taken up and I have something new and nice that I will be announcing within the next six months.
“There have been more fashion events and the culture of dressing up has grown as people enjoy being outdoors, Covid-19 taught us that life is too short.
