Modelling agency call for models from across the country

One of the organisers, Tendai Ganda, confirmed the developments to Standard Style yesterday.

EXERT Modelling Agency in Bulawayo is calling upon models from different parts of the country to take part in their second edition of Modelling Boot Camp to be held in Binga on 17 and 18 April.

Supported by Model Guide, the Boot Camp aims to provide models with opportunities to acquire new skills and techniques beneficial to their careers, as well as the chance to connect with peers from diverse cities and towns.

Some of the activities include sand beach, game parks, hot springs, sun set boat cruising, photoshoots and swimming among others.

One of the organisers, Tendai Ganda, confirmed the developments to Standard Style yesterday.

“We are hosting our second edition of Modelling Bootcamp set to be held in Binga April 17-18. This second edition comes after we successfully held another one in Victoria Falls last December.

“We want models to learn new skills and techniques which help them in their modelling career. We also want them to meet new friends from different cities and towns,” he said.

Ganda said besides that, they also wanted to market the small resort town.

“We also want to market Binga lodges, sand-beach and other businesses in Binga. We are expecting any type of model. For now, I only have five models that already paid us$100 each which will cover accommodation among other things.

“I am working with Tatenda Mpofu and we decided to host in April because it will be a holiday again. We hope to get more models as they will be free,” he said.

He added that he was doing a litmus taste and if he gets good responses, this will become an annual event.

“At the moment, I want to see how people will respond. This will then make us decide whether we can continue hosting these events in different cities.

“I am working with Kabila River Lodge and Batonga Villa Lodge. The models will get a feel of the camping experience and know more about modelling,” he added.
