Mutsvangwa revels in UN programme participation

Tanyaradzwa Bee Mutsvangwa says her participation at the recent Best Diplomats Simulation of the United Nations in Dubai was an eye opener in her prod to motivate young people.

Mutsvangwa represented the country on sustainable development goals and health issues at the best diplomats simulation of the United Nations.

The Best Diplomats Simulation of United Nations is a platform for young leaders and change makers to exchange ideas and come up with solutions for the challenging global issues.

This is in line with national development agenda which also seeks to promote  the participation  of youth  in decision- making and national development processes  and also cultural diversity.

This year’s theme was Impact Directors.

“I feel wonderful, being involved in an United Nations programme like this,” Mutsvangwa said.

“You can develop a sense of belonging and really feel that people are listening and understanding you.

“It’s my passion to motivate young people across the world.”

Best Diplomats is a New York-based international organisation which focuses on training and crafting future diplomats through diplomatic simulations.

It serves as a platform for young leaders and change makers to exchange ideas and resolve the most challenging global issues.

These diplomatic simulations are an ideal avenue for aspiring future diplomats to grasp and grip the lobbying and critical thinking skill set that will enable them to become a better diplomat.
